The Premier League asked us to produce a user-friendly resource for the parents of their academy players.
The Premier League wanted an online resource that provides answers to many of the top questions asked when young footballers join the academies of Premier League clubs.
Young players, along with parents and guardians, often have a lot of questions about things like the registration process and the potential impact it can have on education, wellbeing and family life. The Premier League needed an online platform creating to answer those questions which was also user-friendly and accessible.
We created a custom-built course using HTML 5 because it allowed us to have complete control over every part of the content. This helped us to create something that is consistent with the Premier League’s branding and appropriate for one of the biggest sporting organisations in the world.
Throughout the course we used real life photos of players from Premier League academies to make the content feel authentic to the user. To get across some key messages, we used relevant case studies to help bring to life certain scenarios and topics. And, to improve the UX of the course, we also embedded a search facility to allow specific questions to be found quickly.
