Filming for new FA Educational DVD
As our work continues with The FA, we had National Referee Manager Janie Frampton come to visit us to take part in some filming for an educational DVD we are working on. The DVD will be used as a Theory Assessment tool for UK referees and will be a key training aid in their development.
With shots being filmed on the pitch and also using our in house green screen, we are happy that the final product will be beneficial to many across the country. You never know, the next Howard Webb could be amongst them!

Video Production for Family Intervention Project
Our cameraman and director have been working with the North East Lincolnshire Family Intervention Project (FIP) to film and edit a DVD which will be used to show what the FIP Team do and how they help families in the community.
Taking an holistic approach, the FIP Team work with families to help with their problems and issues, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop valuable skills to assist with their day to day lives.
Filming took place at the FIP offices and included interviews with the team, who gave an insight into their roles. The crew also met with families involved in the project to give them the chance to voice their opinion about the project and how it has benefited them and improved their lives.
Custom printed polo shirts were also produced for the FIP team to wear at an event at Grimsby’s Ice House
The work that the FIP team do is valuable to North East Lincolnshire and we hope that the projects continues. Keep up the good work!

Generating good chemistry at HCF Annual Dinner
As the HCF’s (Humber Chemical Focus) media partner, First Media sponsored the 2010 Annual Dinner, held at Forest Pines. As part of the sponsorship our team designed a new stage set, provided full AV support and produced all of the branded material for the event – including a glossy brochure, which provided a memento of the evening.
First Media also had a table at the event and hosted guests from around the region. The event was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all, with BBC sports presenter Gary Richardson providing excellent entertainment as the after dinner speaker. Take a look at some of the photos…

New college website design for Franklin
Our work in the education sector continues as our creative team launch a new college website for Franklin 6th Form College. The website combines strong visual design with an intuitive CMS (Content Management System), making the website appealing to new students and easy to update for the marketing team.
To help save time when updating courses we have also cleverly integrated the website with the local online prospectus, Lincs2. The website draws all course information from Lincs2, which means that the content only needs to be updated in one place.
Have a look at www.franklin.ac.uk and see for yourself. We love it. You’ll love it!

Rugby Football Union - Print design for the RFU!
Having worked with the RFU for over 7 years, providing E-Learning Design and Conference Services, we were the natural choice for the RFU (Rugby Football Union) when it came to designing their new Volunteering resources.
As part of the project we filmed, edited and produced a new video aimed at recruiting volunteers as well as designing and conceptualising a DVD-Rom and booklet, which made up a useful pack for all grassroots clubs in the country.
Our film crew have been travelling around the country visiting Rugby Clubs to film footage for the DVD, and photography for the booklets. Talking with volunteers, our crew were able understand why volunteering is so beneficial to help grassroots clubs and identify the important issues. These were then reflected throughout the resources to highlight how important volunteers are to the game and also how volunteering can also be beneficial to indvidiuals
This will be a high impact campaign by the RFU and we hope that with our help it will increase the number of volunteers in clubs all over the country. Below are some of the resources we have produced...

We have been on the road again this month, this time for The FA Young Referees Conference at Staverton Park. The annual event which we are a regular part of gathers referees from various levels of the game to get together to learn, discuss and well…talk football!
On site to provide AV Support, stage set and handouts for the presentations and workshops we had it covered even when we had to arrange for the 200 delegates to watch the UEFA Champions League Final on the Saturday night!
Overall it was another successful year for The FA and we have enjoyed working with them! Take a look at some photos...
