Interactive video turns the viewer into an active participant. They can answer questions and fill in forms, engaging the learner with the content of video. Because the user is prompted to answer questions or choose the direction of the narrative they naturally become more involved and intrigued. This makes the content not only more engaging but also more memorable. As designers and developers, it allows us to provide realistic scenarios the learner can identify or empathise with. This can be particularly helpful when dealing with sensitive or complicated issues and as part of the storytelling process.
