Accessibility and eLearning
Looking at the 4 main principles of accessibility in eLearning
Since completing Tough Mudder and a host of other challenges Shane’s taking on the ultimate in physical endurance and running the London Marathon all for the benefit of his chosen charity, VICTA. VICTA supports children and young people who are blind or partially sighted and their families across the UK. The charity is one close to his heart, Shane is running in honour of his dad who suffered with visual impairments and eventually lost his sight.
Shane’s been training regularly and is feeling optimistic about the challenge ahead!
"Running a marathon is a huge challenge that I knew I had to take. Having ran a few half marathons in the past I decided it was time to step up and take on a big one... and it doesn't get much bigger than the London Marathon!
My dad had visual impairments from a young age, so I'm really keen to support VICTA in their aim to support young people who are blind."
The London Marathon takes place on the 28thth April 2019. We all wish Shane the best of luck in completing the Marathon and hope he reaches his target of raising £1,500.
