Most recently Shane took part in the ‘Gruesome Twosome, a 13.1 mile run across the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is aptly named Gruesome Twosome as it is challenging terrain that has to be completed with a partner. Running with his friend Thomas Waldron, Shane came up with the genius team name ‘Traill Across the Walds!’
"Such a great run! It really epitomised what teamwork means... uphill struggles, supporting each other when the going gets tough, long stretches when you don't think you'll reach the end, pushing each other to reach the goal... then celebrating together when we crossed the finish line as a team. Looking forward to the next one!"
Shane is currently considering the London Marathon as his next challenge. If it goes ahead, he will be doing this for charity and will need to raise a minimum £1,000. If you think he should go for it, why not drop him a line of encouragement! Your support would mean a lot, email firstname.lastname@example.org
