Organisations who deliver vocational training can now apply for funding for new 'digital tech' projects.

Ufi VocTech have been a grant-funded body for the last 10 years and they offer financial assistance to businesses who embrace technology and use it to improve skills in the workplace. As of Thursday 21st January 2021, the Ufi’s VocTech Seed 2021 initiative are allowing businesses who deliver vocational learning to apply for funding towards their next digital project.

So, if you provide vocational training in health and social care, education and childcare, transport, public safety, food and necessary goods or any of the other areas outlined by the government, there’s a good chance you’ll qualify and can apply for a grant of up to £50k. The funding can be used to cover the cost of anything that classes as 'digital tech', such as a sophisticated LMS or high-impact eLearning that keeps the user engaged throughout the training.

First Media have over 10 years of experience delivering digital learning in vocational training. Whatever your idea, the chances are that we’ve done it before or we know how to do it! So we can help you get a better idea of the cost of your idea and also the time it’s likely to take to deliver it. From previous experience, this is the sort of information VocTech will be looking for in your application.

Ufi are looking for proposals that are a relatively early stage, so don’t worry if you’re only having a brainwave now, you’ve got time to refine your idea. Also they would like the projects to be completed within 3-12 months.

Businesses have until Thursday 11th February to submit their proposals. Anyone who wants to find out more should go to www.ufi.co.uk. There is plenty of information about eligibility and a step-by-step guide on how to apply.
