Opportunities & Challenges for the Humber
Last month, the Humber Bondholders (Marketing the Humber) brought together business leaders and investors from the Humber region and high profile National speakers to take part in a lunchtime investment forum. The main aim of the forum was to focus on the challenges and opportunities for businesses in the region. Speakers discussed our energy expertise, a forward look post 2020 and the implications of the Brexit vote.
All of the speakers recognised the area as place of opportunity and its important role in ‘keeping the lights on’ for the whole country in 2030!
Over the last decade, the Humber has become known as the ‘Energy Estuary’ and a ‘Fabulous Food Region,’ attracting global investors, manufacturers and suppliers to the region creating hundreds of new jobs. The Humber is perfectly positioned with its ports, manufacturing base and logistics to support thriving and much needed energy and food industries.
It was an interesting and lively event organised and hosted by the Humber Bondholders, sponsored by Humberbusiness.com with event design and production delivered by us!
We created the stage design & staging, including branded infographics with facts about the Humber region as well as the Audio Visual equipment, tech support and set up services.

Bondholder events are a core part of our activity and are used to provide our 300 members with insights into new initiatives and developments, as well as being a place to network and make connections with other local organisations. Our November event, held at Forest Pines was a major event in our 2016 calendar as the event was used as a platform to launch the concept of new branding for the Humber region, with a line-up of high profile speakers and business delegates from across the North. We worked with the team at First Media on the design & production of new marketing material and also the audio visual & event production.
From the initial event proposal presented through to the event itself we were delighted with the professional and efficient service provided by the team. Their approach instilled us with confidence and the delivery was of an incredibly high standard and we were delighted with the feedback received from the delegates in attendance.
