One of our most recent projects has seen us developing a website for the new Wolds College, based in the heart of Lincolnshire.

The college is a culmination of various schools and colleges coming together to provide vocational learning to 16 – 18 years old within the East Lindsey area. As part of our involvement we worked with various partners involved in building the college to build a website that suited everyone’s needs. The site allows visitors to access information about the college and gives a range of information, including:

• Information about Courses
• Support Information
• General information about the college
• An area where they can apply
• Information for Corporate clients to view what is happening

One of the main challenges when building the site was that as the college wasn’t built we had to invent a lot of the content and imagery. We therefore attended an open event and captured students taking part in activities . We were then able to use these throughout the site, and the kids loved seeing themselves on there – and even told their friends!

The site has its own CMS which allows administrators to update the news and add any information as required. They have received some great feedback from the site and it has been a key tool in marketing and attracting learners.

We are currently talking to the college about the next phase of branding.
